3 Day Ring of Kerry Tour - Cork, Blarney Castle, The Queenstown Story, Killarney and The Ring of Kerry

Enjoy the magnificent coastal scenery and rugged countryside views that have inspired Irish poets and writers over the centuries! This three day tour explores Cork, Blarney Castle, The Queenstown Story, The Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher & Galway Bay with two nights in Killarney.

Itinerary - Day 1

  • 06:30hrs check-in at Heuston Station Customer Service Desk
  • 07:00hrs tour departs en route for Cork.  Breakfast is available.
  • Transfers by road to Blarney Castle.  Try to kiss the famous Blarney Stone, who’s powers are supposedly unquestioned!
  • Enjoy the flavour of Cork City with some free time to explore the shops and have a bite to eat.
  • Visit Cobh Heritage Centre, home of the "Queenstown Story".  It dramatically recalls the unique history and origins of Cobh with themes including The Titanic and Emigration & Famine
  • Return to Cork station for train transfer to Killarney
  • Used as a base, enjoy two nights in a comfortable Bed & Breakfast accommodation with en-suite facilities.

Itinerary – Day 2

  • 10:00hrs embark on the famous Ring of Kerry Tour.  The combination of Kerry’s coastline, which has been carved out by the Atlantic, and it’s rolling landscape scenes are sure to take your breath away.

Itinerary – Day 3

  • 07.30hrs depart for Limerick
  • Visit Buratty Castle the most complete and authentic medieval castles in Ireland, which today stands in the peaceful grounds surrounded by its great walls.
  • Experience the magnificent Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most spectacular sights overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from a 214m height.
  • Complete the day in a traditional Irish pub in Doolin, a charming, small seaside village.
  • 20.50hrs arrive Dublin City/Heuston

Dublin City Tour (Hop on Hop off)

This fully guided tour gives you an overall flavour of our historic and ancient city. The tour departs every 10 to 15 minutes throughout the day. Stops along the way allow you to visit Trinity College Dublin, Kilmainham Gaol, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Christchurch Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse and the Old Jameson Distillery.
Tour duration is approximately 90 minutes without getting off.

Details: This tour runs daily, with the first tour departing at 09.30hrs.
Cost: €16 per person.
Tour departs from: 14 Upper O’Connell St, Dublin 1. (Delegates can join the tour at a stop outside Trinity College)

Newgrange Tour

In the heart of the Boyne Valley, Co. Meath, Newgrange is one of the finest examples of a prehistoric passage tomb. You will visit the Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre, which will interpret the archaeological heritage of the Boyne Valley, which includes the megalithic passage tombs of Newgrange & Knowth.

Times: Tour departs at 10.00hrs and returns to Dublin at 15.45hrs approx.

Wicklow Mountains Valley and Lake Tour

This Sunday drive will take you on a scenic route out of Dublin to Russborough House, a beautifully furnished 18th century Palladian Mansion with a world renowned art collection. The tour then travels to Glendalough through the Wicklow Mountains, passing the magnificent Blessington Lakes. After a guided tour of Glendalough, a monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin in the 6th Century, you will have time to enjoy lunch* in the magnificent mountainous surrounds. The tour returns to Dublin via Avoca Handweavers where you can visit their craft shop or enjoy an afternoon coffee.

Dublin Bay & Castle Tour

After a brief introduction to Dublin City, you will visit the pretty coastal village of Malahide and the 14th century Malahide Castle, where you will enjoy a guided tour and have time to wander in the craft shops and gardens. The tour then meanders through the pretty fishing village of Howth towards Howth Summit where there will be a 10 minute stop to enjoy the breathtaking views of Dublin Bay. The tour continues back into Dublin via the northern coastline.

Times: Tour departs at 14.30hrs and returns to Dublin at 17.30hrs approx.
Cost: €25 per person
